Vancouver
So we decided to drive up from Seattle instead of flying cause its only 120 miles away, and was great not to deal with the hassles of checking in and practically stripping off as you approach the gates.
Vancouver, in short is beautiful, Definitely could see myself living there at some point. The weather was awesome, and the city was the perfect size, not too big, not too small. Enough of the hustle and bustle you expect to see in a city, yet the ability to kick back and relax as well. We walked a lot of this city to get the most out of it. If you check out the pics, Coal Harbour seems to have been the inspiration for Dubai Marina! The buildings were exact replicas, more like Dubai stole err… copied the designs. Unfortunately Dubai couldn’t get the same weather and greenery.
While walking down the harbour we decided to catch the sea plane to the town of Victoria, which is such a quaint little town, with good hearty food and great beer. We decided to wake up early and do some whale watching, but unfortunately didn’t catch a glimpse of any. But we did see Sea Lions and Dolphins, but was hoping to see some hump back whales and Orcas. Well, next time I guess.
Well, finally caught up with Alex and the Gossamer team to say hello since we were in their neck of the woods to have a Coffee. Glad to report that after the meeting that our servers are definitely in very good hands!
Anyways, thats the Vancouver report. The pics are far more interesting!
